Appreciating the Selenite Crystal: Experiences and Properties of Selenite

There is a crystal I have a love affair with and that is selenite crystal. Today I am in the mood to talk about this pretty cool crystal.

My First Piece of Selenite Crystal:

I wish I could remember when my love affair with Selenite began but truthfully, I can’t really remember. I’ve always enjoy the moon so I guess it must have started then?

My first piece was a small slice of Selenite and while I loved it, I didn’t find myself working with it very often. I knew I wanted to work with Selenite with clients, but just didn’t find this to be the “right” piece for that. A few years down the line, I actually gave this piece to my late father who was suffering with skin cancer. At that time, I wanted the Angels to be with him because I knew time was short. I also wanted them to be with him when he passes over. Selenite is known to be helpful with healing from cancer but it also is linked to the angels. I guess it served dual purposes now that I think back.

Selenite I Use with my Clients:

I am quite fond of using Selenite on myself as well as my clients.

I am known to use a tumbled selenite crystal for the Crown Chakra. There is something awesome about using Selenite at the Crown Chakra. Selenite is linked to the Angels as well as Higher Powers which I love and to me, it’s a really great crystal for connecting to Higher Powers.

I also love using a Selenite wand which is like an extension of my hand during sessions. I use this to cleanse and clear the aura and I feel like my wand does a bomb dot com job of this! Selenite is all about purity and cleansing!

My Experience with Selenite:

Selenite has been one that has helped me remember my connection to High Powers and angels. I thought I’d share with you some of my meditation experiences with Selenite.

When I first started meditating with my selenite wand, I was always taken to the beach at night with the moon so bright and full. It was such a peaceful and gentle setting. I have always found Selenite to be soothing, comforting and gentle, even though it can be high vibrational for others.

The next meditation that I’m sharing is one that has always stuck with me. It was sort of a game changer for me because it reminded me strongly that I’m not alone and I am guided.

I had bought a Selenite tower from Gaia Crystals at such a steal of a price that I still can’t believe it! For quite some time, I kept moving it around in my room, but nothing felt right for this crystal. I decided that I would meditate with it in order to try and get some clarity.

From the get-go, there was so much peace, love and calm in that meditation. Eventually I found myself in a room filled with white light and white light beings that felt to me like angels. It was like stepping into a gathering on a cloud filled with sunlight.

I felt such immense love in this room with these white light beings that I cried and the closest thing I can liken the experience to is receiving a loving hug. What I feel happened is that I received a hug from the angels and that is what I always say! I felt so appreciated and so much appreciation for who I am as well as where I was.

From all my meditations with my Selenite, if I close my eyes, I can go back to that moment and see what I saw very clearly. It’s incredible!

Lately, I find myself doing a lot of energetic housekeeping with a selenite crystal that Shelly from Sea Dreams Orgone gifted to me! It’s so cleansing and rejuvenating for me!

Selenite Benefits and Properties:

Selenite is probably good for everything and I know I say that about almost every crystal, like golden tiger eye, but it’s true!

Here are some Selenite properties for you:

• Purity
• Cleansing and clearing especially for the aura
• Connection to Higher Powers and/or Angels
• Good for meditation
• Peaceful and soothing vibration
• Can assist with healing from cancer
• Known to be beneficial for the spine
• Can assist with sleeplessness

Selenite is known to be self-cleansing so it doesn’t necessarily need to be cleansed and cleared. I still tend to clear my Selenite because it’s a hard worker and does a lot of work with me. I believe even a motivator needs motivation. Many also like to use a selenite charging plate in order to charge and/or cleanse their other crystals.
