Hi everyone! We all know what our zodiac sign is, well… most of us do anyway. Last week I spoke a little about my own zodiac sign and which element it is connected to.
If you don’t know much about crystals and wanted to get one according to your zodiac sign, that would be a good start. I’ll break down the zodiac signs into their elements along with suggestions for which crystals can assist with balancing negative attributes and enhancing positive attributes.
The Elements:
The zodiac signs can be divided into four elements: air, earth, fire and water.
Air is related to change and intellect. Zodiac signs associated with the Air element are Aquarius, Gemini and Libra.
Earth is related to abundance and stability. Zodiac signs associated with the Earth element are Capricorn, Taurus and Virgo.
Fire is related to power and action. Zodiac signs associated with the Fire element are Aries, Leo and Sagittarius.
Water is related to emotions and intuition. Zodiac signs associated with the Earth element are Cancer, Pisces and Scorpio.
Let’s look at each element and what crystals can lend some support.
Air and Zodiac signs related to the Air Element:
To enhance positive attributes of Aquarius, Gemini or Libra you could get yourself a crystal related to the air sign, like rainbow fluorite, celestite or blue kyanite.
The throat chakra is related to the air element so any light blue crystals would be good to enhance the positive attributes.
To bring more balance and balance the negative attributes, you would go for a crystal related to the earth element, like red jasper, hematite or malachite.
Earth brings balance to zodiac signs related to the air element. Sometimes airs can be a bit too much in the clouds and not enough on the ground so even though I don’t like earth stones much, I find that they do help me quite a bit.
Earth and Zodiac Signs related to the Earth Element:
To enhance positive attributes of Capricorn, Taurus and Virgo you could get yourself a crystal related to the earth sign, like jasper, hematite or malachite.
The root chakra is related to the earth element so any red, brown or black crystals would be good to enhance the positive attributes.
To bring more balance and balance the negative attributes, you would go for a crystal related to the air element, like rainbow fluorite, celestite or blue kyanite.

Fire and Zodiac Signs related to the Fire Element:
To enhance positive attributes of Aries, Leo and Sagittarius you could get yourself a crystal related to the fire sign, like black obsidian, carnelian or citrine.
The sacral chakra is related to the fire element so any orange crystals would be good to enhance the positive attributes. I also feel that the fire element could have connections to the solar plexus as well, so I sometimes use yellow crystals as well.
To bring more balance and balance the negative attributes, you would go for a crystal related to the water element, like larimar, abalone shell (although not a crystal, it just came to my mind here), aquamarine or selenite .
Water brings balance to zodiac signs related to the fire element.
Water and Zodiac Signs Related to the Water Element:
To enhance positive attributes of Aries, Leo and Sagittarius you could get yourself a crystal related to the water sign, like larimar, abalone shell, aquamarine or selenite.
The third eye/brow chakra is related to the water element so any purple crystals as well as those that are considered to have quite a feminine energy like opal and moonstone which are known to assist with emotional balance, these would be good to enhance the positive attributes. I also personally feel that the water element has connections to the sacral chakra as well so orange stones like carnelian could also be beneficial for balance.
To bring more balance and balance the negative attributes, you would go for a crystal related to the fire element, like black obsidian, carnelian or citrine.
Fire brings balance to zodiac signs related to the water element.

Aquarius: Amethyst, Blue Obsidian, Labradorite.
Aries: Ruby, Bloodstone, Jadeite.
Cancer: Moonstone, Calcite, Pink Tourmaline.
Capricorn: Jet, Black Tourmaline, Aragonite.
Gemini: Serpentine, Apatite, Topaz.
Leo: Tiger Eye, Chrysocolla, Carnelian.
Libra: Sapphire, Lepidolite, Green Tourmaline.
Pisces: Aquamarine, Blue Lace Agate, Turquoise.
Sagittarius: Sodalite, Smokey Quartz, Chalcedony.
Scorpio: Malachite, Obsidian, Charoite.
Taurus: Rose Quartz, Kyanite, Selenite.
Virgo: Peridot, Magnetite, Moss Agate.

There is a wide range of crystals for each zodiac sign and most crystal shops will also have their own list that you can take a look at to choose from.
Crystals for People on the Cusp of their Zodiac sign:
If you find that you are on the cusp of your sign, you may be attracted to the stones attributed to your zodiac sign AND/OR the one you’re on the cusp of.
In that case, choose a stone that you feel attracted to irrespective of what sign it “belongs” to and that’s what you should do always anyway! There’s no right or wrong answer when it comes to your crystals. If it resonates, it just does!
