This website, SGCrystalHealing, details what I offer (crystal readings, digital mandalas) as well as free content (articles, newsletter).
What personal data I collect and why I collect it:
Comments:
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form (name, email address, website), and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Contact forms:
If a visitor would like to get in touch with me for more information regarding an article, a crystal healing session with me or to book a crystal healing session with me, they can use the contact form. We collect the data shown in the contact form (name, email) as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. This information is not stored online or used for marketing purposes.
Cookies:
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

I also use a Social Sharing widget within this website which allows visitors to share content to various social media platforms. I do not store or have access to account information from the social media profiles that you use to share.

Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google utilizes the Data collected to track and examine the use of this Application, to prepare reports on its activities and share them with other Google services.
Google may use the Data collected to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network..
Who I share your data with:
By default I do not share your information with anyone.
I do not keep online records of crystal healing sessions on any cloud based provider but I do keep a hardcopy on a file that is kept confidential between myself and the client.
I do keep a record of data (name, email, date of birth) for anyone who subscribes to my newsletter. This information is stored by a third-party (MailChimp). This is a highly professional company that complies with stringent requirements for privacy and security on the lists that we give to them. You are free to unsubscribe at any time by emailing me (info@sgcrystalhealing.com) or clicking to unsubscribe at the footer of every newsletter sent.
My content can be shared to various social media platforms (Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, G+, Twitter and more) and you would have to use your personal/active profile to share that content. I do not have access to your personal profiles.
How long I retain your data:
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that subscribe to the newsletter on our website via MailChimp, I store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time. Website administrators can also see and edit that information. Subscribers can unsubscribe whenever they so wish.
Hardcopies of client’s reading report is retained in a confidential file and this is stored for one full year. It will be destroyed in an appropriate manner.
What rights you have over your data:
If you have an account on this site, have subscribed to the newsletter, have left comments, purchased a digital mandala or have received a reading from me, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where I send your data:
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
MailChimp stores data for anyone who subscribes to the monthly newsletter offered on this website.

Payments are processed through a third-party like PayPal and/or relevant online banking platform if electronic funds are transferred. I do not store card details.
How I protect your data:
I do not share your data.
Newsletter subscriptions require an authentication and confirmation before emails will be received and/or sent.
Your data (client forms) are stored in a secure file that is kept confidential and only shared between client and healer (me). I do not store client information on any cloud based platform. Feedback after sessions, or reviews (feedback/reviews are optional) are stored on Google Drive and/or Facebook and/or the website.
What data breach procedures I have in place:
Should your data be compromised I shall email you personally with a direct email within 3 business days.
What third parties I receive data from:
By default I do not receive data about users from third parties, including advertisers.
What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data:
By default I do not allow customers to apply for credit, or aggregating their data into an advertising profile.
