Are you ready for Monday Motivation Week 30? This is my motivation for this week so let’s get those motivation vibes going!

So, tell me, what is your morning ritual and how do you start your morning?

This is how I start my morning:

  • Gratitude Storm: From when I open my eyes, I start going through what I’m grateful for; while I am waking up, going to the bathroom, taking our dog out, feeding the kids. Many mornings it’s the same goodies but I try be thankful for things out the box that I may take for granted: my period, finally planting that plant, drinking water, etc.
  • Meditation: Then I get back into bed and do a 10 minute meditation using the Insight Timer app on my phone (free app for iPhone and Android). I usually protect myself here and then sit in quiet with myself for a bit.
  • Card Pull: I pull a card for guidance for the day.
  • Journal: I journal about the card pull and any other thoughts that came to me during meditation.
Why do I do this?

It makes me FEEL good. The days I have just started by going onto my phone or starting my day, I am tired as fuck and unmotivated. I feel grim and not lus (= in the mood) for anything.
That is why I feel it’s important to have some sort of day starter and social media is NOT the way to start your day. Do you know how much krap is out there that you don’t even notice but you start your day that way and then wonder why the day is so kak? Yeah, check out for Facebook or Instagram hey 😉
